  • Applied Mathematics
  • Reading for Information
  • Workplace Data and Graphics
  • Communicating Effectively
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Professionalism
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
The right skills can lead to a better job.

An Arizona Career Readiness Credential can provide you with better opportunity to advance in your career. Employers in the ACRC network are looking for job candidates who have demonstrated they have these skills by having earned an Arizona Career Readiness Credential.

Job seekers can earn a credential by successfully completing the Career Readiness and Employability Skills Assessments. The Career Readiness assessments are ideal for measuring foundational skills that focus on the core communication, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required for 21st Century opportunities—from entry level to professional.

The ACRC program provides learners with an initial skills review to estimate current skill levels in Applied Mathematics, Workplace Reading, and Workplace Data and Graphics.  Where improvement is needed, a fully aligned curriculum helps job seekers improve their understanding of those skills.

Career Readiness Courseware (CRC) is ideal for measuring the level of readiness in foundational skills that focus on the core communication, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required for 21st Century opportunities—from entry level to professional. The CRC program provides learners with an initial skills review to identify further training and education along their career path. The program measures a student’s skills in Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information, with each area including a minimum of three scored levels of questions for independently measuring essential career readiness. Scores are then related to career exploration that matches participants to jobs, training and careers.

Employability Skills Courseware helps learners develop and demonstrate attitudes and behaviors that are critical to success at college and work. Conveying professionalism, communicating effectively, promoting teamwork and collaboration, and thinking critically to solve problems are an essential part of a comprehensive approach to preparing students for success and providing future employers with workplace-ready candidates.
